September 2008

The month ended on another high as 12 of our girls headed to Norfolk for the Agchem Calendar shoot at the beautiful Surlingham Manor. Laura Gedvilate, Alexandra Gerasimova, Sophie D, Jade Rogers, Elwira, Anne-Marie Murray, Emma-Louise, Farina, Katie Townsend, Claire Grimshaw and Pheneatia were all chosen to appear in the 2009 calendar, modelling cocktail dresses, ball gowns and swimwear!

Fingers crossed for new model Davinia Wilson who has been short-listed for the Dorling Kindersley shoot scheduled for the end of next month after attending her first casting with us

After attending the casting for the Adidas promotional tour, Jason Leggett was selected to show off his football skills for the Dream Big advertising campaign

Sarah Goddard, Poppy, Anastasiya, Chris Lang, Claudio, Florian and Phoenix made the Fashion TV finals and show-cased 5 designer collections at London’s Vendome during London Fashion Week.

Phoenix James also went on to win the highly acclaimed Fashion TV Best Male Model award. Congratulations from everyone at Dynamic!

Other models that took part in London Fashion Week events included: George, Zedekiah, Joe Manjon, Jason Leggett, Nick Maccann, Alexandra G, Danielle Enaowho, Naomi Murphy and Brad Parsons.

In other parts of the country, Justyna Mordal did her first catalogue shoot for ethical clothing line Digga in Edinburgh.

Charlotte Campbell, Caroline Spary and Adelle Howell all shot cd covers with photographer Huw Lloyd Jones in Cheltenham.

And Darren Dean started off a great month working on a campaign for Miss Selfridge in Manchester

August 2008

August has been a splendid month for the agency and indeed its models. Below are some of the highlights of August at Dynamic Models Modelling Agency

Well done to new model Alexandra, who not only wowed at Wimbledon Fashion Week and the Stylemeup.com launch party (as did Jason Leggett and other latest additions Florian and Brad Parsons), but also at the Outershell Trade show which took place at the Candid Arts Centre in trendy Islington

Following the opportunity to appear in the Channel 4 documentary last week, Jeremy Hobbs was short-listed and selected to do a screen-test for them

Congratulations to Kim Ingram did a fantastic job appearing last minute on the Richard and Judy Show on Monday on Channel 4.

Twelve of our models have been selected for a second casting for a secret global client – watch this space…..!

Jason L, Kayleigh S, Damilola and Shellie all went on shoots with the eminent photographer Clyde Armitage, as did Kechii

Darren Dean and James kitchen attended castings and were both short-listed to appear in the Urban Photography calendars

Well done to all the models who attended the Fluff PR casting. We had positive feedback on you from the client, who will be launching during February LFW.

Cherelle, Vitalija and Tim were all chosen for the Bliss Magazine shoots

Kirstie McHugh and Jade Rukmin both did shoots with Hair Stylist and MUA Claire Nicole – we look forward to seeing the pictures on the site shortly

Elwira went high-fashion with top photographer Kaz, while Vitalija did likewise with MUA Yoshi, and Sarah Asaas did a 50’s style shoot with Harriet Eagleman.

Sarah Goddard shot with The Face Magazine and will be appearing in a double-page spread, as well as being selected for London Fashion Week.

September is hitherto showing itself to be a bumper month in terms of modelling work, castings and income for our models. So watch this space for our September highlights!!!

Dynamic Models are proud to be one of the principal sponsors of the hugely successful and ongoing Wimbledon Fashion Week

Best of luck to our models (Jing, Jodie Freeman, Ebru and Elika) who made the Miss Wimbledon Final competition. We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday for the results.

Well done to all our models that made the final cut for Wimbledon Fashion Week including Sophie Dunton, Dominika, Anastasiya, Sarah Goodard, Anabelle, Danielle Enaowho, Jake Martin, Paul Dixon, Cherelle, Jason Randall, Jason Leggett, Vitalija, Kechii, Jodie Freeman and Zedekiah – and especially Chris Lang who was chosen for the vast majority of shows!

A further well done to Chris who was not only selected to be the face of the Outershell Trade Show Ad campaign but also went on location in Hype Park and Marble Arch for the shoot.

Thank you to Sara Lambert who managed to go on a last minute shoot for Ian Summers (IS photos) in Milton Keynes.

New model Amaelle had her first job for Julia Smith following the Dynamic Models Catwalk training session held at Pineapple. The vast majority of those that attended have quickly followed on with events such as Wimbledon Fashion Week, fitting work and photo-shoots. We will be holding the next one in August/September so watch this space!

Kendall continued her hair campaign with Mike Reynolds at top Kensington salon Cobella.

Alex Constanti went on location with photographer Vince Felix in Eastbourne

We started the month attending Coutts Jewellery Week, and following some discussions will be selecting a model to shoot for Jewellery designer Tina Lilienthal (whose clients include Kelly Osbourne amongst others) in the near future.

June 2008

Congratulations to Anastasiya who beat hundreds of models countrywide to land the Tigi hair-demo and catwalk show contract in Exeter. Her hair looks fantastic and we can’t wait to see the new pictures!

Good luck to all the girls attending the dance auditions on Friday and Sunday for the forthcoming UK and Chicago/Toronto show tour.

Well done to Kendall who landed her first assignment with top hair-stylist Mike Reynolds.

Twins Layla and Brooke braved the rain for their first location shoot with photographer Chris Kalessin

Fingers crossed for Anabelle and Kayleigh Sultanti who were selected from 000s of modelling hopefuls to attend the MTV music promo casting – and well done especially to Kayleigh who attended despite hanging out with Public Enemy at the official after-party for most of the previous night...!

Anabelle also had a busy week after taking part last minute in the Miss Summer Bikini contest in Covent Garden

Vitalija was selected out of hundreds of models to shoot for London Fashion Week designer Ross Barnes’ new collection

Sophie Dunton won high appraisal for her shoot with LA and India based Couture designers Falguni and Shane Peacock and we look forward to seeing the results on their website very soon

Both Gosha and Zeynab worked with regular client and London designer Julia Smith and will hopefully be working with her again very soon.

May 2008 - Alternate Fashion Week

If you enjoy fashion as an existing or aspiring model, you’ve probably heard of Alternative Fashion Week. This annual high profile event is all about supporting new talent and making a fashion show more approachable and affordable to everyday folk. The event affords bright young designers the platform to parade and show off their innovative fashions - some on the edge of the mainstream. All models featured are by way of invitation only courtesy of their respective agencies and Dynamic Models was one of those privileged to be invited and send in some models which we duly did.

Having enjoyed a great success at the event, we’d like to thank all our models who took part, as well as organiser Maggie Pinhorne and all the fantastic designers who showcased there. For this lucky bunch of models, the sky’s the limit we hope as it usually leads on to bigger and better things!
